Jay-Z Team Up With Ron Howard For 'Made in America' Music Festival Film

Hip Hop mogul Jay-Z, is no stranger to doing big things, and the next big thing the Brooklyn-born rapper is doing is his Made In America Music Festival, which runs September 1-2 in Philadelphia.

The rapper is also teaming up with Hollywood big wigs Brian Grazer and Ron Howard to turn the festival into a movie.

Grazer will produce and Howard will direct the film based on the two-day festival, which will feature such artest as Drake, Skrilles, Rick Ross, Run DMC, Miike Snow, Janellee Monae, Odd Future and Jay-Z, who will be headlining. | Full Story

Well the Academy sure fixed that fast! Billy Crystal now has the duty of hosting the 84th Annual Academy Awards and Brian Grazer has the job of producing the show. This will be Crystal’s second time hosting so it was an easy choice for Grazer and the Academy. Even though the Muppets had a full-fledged campaign to win the task of hosting the show, they were no match for funny man Crystal.
