Skyfall First Look Poster

007.com released a new teaser poster for  Skyfall today. Director Sam Mendes stated that he wanted Skyfall to have the feel of classic James Bond. Examples of similarities between this adaptation of the film and past Bond projects, include the set location, (same as From Russia With Love), and the popular gun barrel background, shown in every Bond movie’s credit sequence.

There are rumors that Skyfall is going to step back into the light hearted Bond formerly of the Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan days. Apparently the plan is to distance the next Bond film from the dark and grittier Bond who Daniel Craig has most recently portrayed. | Full Story

Sony has just released the first official image from Sam Mendes’ ‘Skyfall‘, the 23rd Bond film that stars Daniel Craig in his 3rd outing as 007. The photo follows a series of teaser images released on the film’s official social media pages, including obscure photos of basements and one of Bond staring into a pool.

‘Skyfall’ is directed by Sam Mendes and also stars Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory and Ola Rapace. | Full Story

Bérénice Marlohe Will Be The New Bond Girl

French actress Bérénice Marlohe has been picked by Sam Mendes to be the latest Bond girl. According to sources, Marlohe met the director’s approval after acing an intensive screen-test.

This could benefit Marlohe tremendously; up to this point the actress hasn’t been in anything that has reached a wide international audience. This will also be Marlohe’s first time doing a movie in the English language.

The French actress isn’t the the only new addition to the upcoming Bond film, Britain’s Helen McCrory and Ben Whishaw have also joined the cast. | Full Story
