Anthony Mackie is in talks to star as Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Marvel continues their push to release more superhero movies with the next installment being Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Anthony Mackie is next to be added to the comic book franchise as he is finishing negotiations to star as The Falcon.

Falcon/Sam Wilson was created by comic legend Stan Lee in 1969. He made his first appearance in Captain America issue #117 and was Marvel’s first African American superhero. | Full Story

New ‘Gangster Squad’ trailer hits the web!

Warner Brothers has just released another trailer for the upcoming crime drama Gangster Squad. The initial trailer for the film was released back in May and this is the second edition.

Gangster Squad takes place 1949 in Los Angeles, California. In the story, Brooklyn born mob boss Mickey Cohen is in full control of the city, where he is making large amounts of money from drugs, guns, prostitution and every numbers racket ring west of Chicago. | Full Story

Warner Bros. just released the trailer for the shoot’em up crime drama Gangster Squad.

The story takes place 1949 in Los Angeles, where Brooklyn born mob king Mickey Cohen is in full control of the city. He is making a large sum of money from drugs, guns, prostitution and every numbers racket west of Chicago. He does this all with the protection of his violent goons, corrupt police, and politicians who are on his pay roll. | Full Story

Anthony Mackie Joins The Cast Of “The Gangster Squad”

Anthony Mackie officially signs up with “The Gangster Squad.” set in the 1940′s A special unit is organized to stop the corruption from taking over the city of Los Angeles.

Mackie plays Rocky Washington, an ex-cop and the first black lieutenant in the LAPD, who is ultimately recruited to work as part of the squad.

“The Gangster Squad” will hit theaters sometime in 2013.
