Anne Hathaway To Star In Christopher Nolan’s Newest Project ‘Interstellar’

It seems as though famed film legend Christopher Nolan enjoyed working with Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises. He’s asked the actress ,who played Selina/ Catwoman, to return in his newest project, Interstellar. Details on her role are limited, but we do know she’ll be opposite Matthew McConaughey.

As seen on Deadline.com, there’s no official log line for Interstellar  just yet. The film has something to do with wormholes and time travel, depicting “a heroic interstellar voyage to the farthest borders of our scientific understanding.” Definitely not the typical Matthew McConaughey rom-com. | Full Story

The Academy Awards Get Even More Musical

On the heels of announcing Adele’s musical performance in the James Bond tribute, the 85th Annual Academy Awards will also feature a tribute to musicals over the last ten years. Chicago, Dreamgirls, and, of course, Les Misérables will be featured in the segment.

Oscar nominated actress Anne Hathaway has been busy recently making amazing films like her latest successes, The Dark Knight Rises and Les Miserables, for which she was recently awarded a Golden Globe. Now she’s set to take on another project based on a literary classic.

Hathaway is rumored to be cast for the new adaptation of Shakespeare’s , The Taming of the Shrew,  according to a report by MTV movies blog and the Wrap.  This wouldn’t be Hathaway’s first appearance in a Shakespeare film. | Full Story

The genius filmmaker, Steven Spielberg, grabbed the exclusive movie rights to the best-selling book, Robopocalypse.  In Robopocalypse author Daniel H. Wilson creates a futuristic world in which artificial intelligence release a virus, ultimately leading to the planet’s network of machines to violently turn on the human race.

As of today, it looks like the Robopocalypse author will have to put his dreams on hold- or at least wait until the theatrical release hopefully by the end of  2014. | Full Story

Jackson and Anne Hathaway recently came together to combine their star power to promote their respective movies Django Unchained and Les Miserables.  Funny or Die has brought the pair together for the sake of the holidays season to remind us what this time of year is all about, but something goes terribly wrong.

The two break out into an epic Christmas “Sad Off” argument.

British actor Ben Whishaw has signed on to play  a computer hacker named Lurker in Robopocalypse. Steven Spielberg’s next sci-fi epic is shaping up nicely, having already tapped Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises) to star as the male and female leads. The film is being written by Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods), and co-produced by Dreamworks and 20th Century Fox. | Full Story

After author Lauren Weisberger recently announced that she’s penning the follow-up to her 2003 best-seller The Devil Wears Prada, a great deal of speculation began to emerge about Meryl Streep returning to her role as cutthroat fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly.

Universal has released the first Les Miserables teaser trailer featuring Anne Hathaway flexing her pipes with one of the show’s most famous songs.

The Tom Hooper-directed movie, is a drama based on the famed musical and Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel of the same name.  Aside from Hathaway, the film boasts a star-studded cast, which includes Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Samantha Barks, and Aaron Tveit. | Full Story

Marketing for Warner Bros’ The Dark Knight Rises is definitely in full swing after the studio released four new TV spots for Christopher Nolan‘s final Batman movie. The first two were released last week, with two more following yesterday and today.
