Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie’s Miraval Wine Flies Off Shelves

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie have gone into the wine business and by the looks of it thusfar, the Bradgelina duo are going to be very successful.

The wine, Miraval Rose 2012, is a joint wine venture with Marc Perrin, and was produced at the Hollywood couple’s southern French estate of Chateau Miraval property. There is also a special bonus that may help the sales, the back label of each bottle reads “bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin.”

6,000 bottles of the Miraval Rose 2012 were put on sale online today, and according to the Perrin family spokesman, the wine were bought within five short hours. | Full Story

When it comes to Angelina Jolie’s latest film endeavor Cleopatra, directors are dropping like flies, leading some people believe that the actress’ project will never get off the ground.

David Fincher, director of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, was the first to back away from the project. Then Sony approached Brokeback Mountain director Ang Lee, he too walked away.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will make her first appearance in a feature film opposite her mother, Angelina Jolie.

Jolie-Pitt, 4, will have a small role in the upcoming movie, Maleficent. The film will tell the tale of Sleeping Beauty from the point of view of Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty’s evil enemy.

The 4-year-old will play a younger version of Princess Aurora, which will be played by Elle Fanning. Walt Disney studios has confirmed the casting of the live-action movie with multiple sources. | Full Story

Angelina Jolie has visited Colombian refugees who were forced to flee their country to seek peace across the border in Ecuador. According to the UNHCR, the actress is on a special envoy of High Commissioner for the Refugees.

“She is expected to focus on large-scale crises resulting in the mass displacement of people, to undertake advocacy and represent UNHCR and Mr Guterres at the diplomatic level, engaging with relevant interlocutors on global displacement issues,” UNHCR spokesman Adrian Edwards said. | Full Story

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have selected the spot where they plan to tie the knot. The two A-list actors have decided to have their wedding on an estate in France this summer, according to reports.

Pitt and Jolie have spent the last several months planning to hold an extraordinary wedding ceremony at their property near the village of Correns, in the South of France.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally engaged, after six children and 7 years of dating.

Hollywood Reporter first broke the story on Friday, which was followed up with a confirmation by The Associated Press.

In a statement to HR, Robert Procop — a jewelry designer who worked with Jolie on her “Style of Jolie” collection — confirmed he had designed Jolie’s ring with assistance from Pitt.

Pitt’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante, also confirmed the news to The Associated Press in an email Friday. | Full Story

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have not shared screen time since Mr. &  Mrs. Smith (2005), however, if the rumors  are true about Ridley Scott’s upcoming film The Counselor,  the couple may once again be co-stars.

According to Deadline, Scott may get his wish to have both Pitt and No Country For Old Men actor, Javier Bardem, occupying roles in the film alongside Michael Fassbender. The two actors are reportedly in talks to secure the parts. | Full Story

Well, they have not rekindled their romantic fire, but rather reunited for the release of Thornton’s new book.

The actress, who divorced Thornton, has written the introduction for her ex-husband’s upcoming memoir, Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts.

Jolie is only one of the many famous people who have contributed to the actor’s book. The cover of the memoir reads, “Introduction by Angelina Jolie, with commentary by Robert Duvall, Dwight Yoakam and Tom Epperson.”

Billy Bob Thornton has released a statement to combat the latest media claims about him and Angelina Jolie.

The Bad Santa star denied reports that certain elements of And Then We Drove, a movie that he’s co-writing, is inspired by his romance with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

Earlier in the week, a story broke that the film is partly inspired by Thornton’s wild and well-documented relationship with his ex-partner.
