Bassett will play King opposite Mary J. Blige, who co-stars as Shabazz in the effort previously known as Parallel Lives. The Nu Image/Millennium’s White House thriller already have Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart starring in it. Butler is slated to play a Secret Service agent trying to stop Korean terrorists who have taken over the White House with plans to detonate a nuclear bomb. On the other hand, Eckhart will play the president.
