It’s no surprise that Justin Timberlake brought in the big numbers on SNL last night. Whenever those two are together it’s a guaranteed good time.

This time hosting marks Timberlake’s fifth time as host to the comedy sketch show, which as one sketch showed, gave him access to the “five timers club”. The skit featured the rare few who have hosted or performed as the musical guest five or more times. That included Paul Simon, a pipe smoking Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd who only hosted one time therefore he served as the lowly bartender. | Full Story

‘Girls’ Will Be Back For Round 3

HBO’s award winning series, Girlswill be back for a third season of awkward encounters among struggling twenty-somethings.

Girls writer/executive producer/ star Lena Dunham implied the renewal on a podcast with Alec Baldwin earlier this week. She revealed Girls would be moving their set to the soon to be vacated 30 Rock set. Now, per Deadline, the contracts are signed and the news is official. ‘Rise Of The Guardians’ Flops At Box Office, But Film Is Still Worth Seeing

While DreamWork’s Rise of the Guardians certainly didn’t rise to the occassion in terms of box office numbers, the 3D animated flick didn’t disappoint based on its high Rotten Tomatoes rating. As Deadline.com told us, for whatever reason, Rise of the Guardian’s didn’t appeal to the mass numbers of movie go-ers this Thanksgiving weekend. Perhaps parents didn’t want to reinforce the existence of Santa or the Easter Bunny only to have the rug tragically pulled out from under their children later in life, or perhaps those families were Jewish. | Full Story

’30 Rock’ Live Shows Boost Ratings (Full Episodes)

NBC’s 30 Rock took a break from its usual filmed format to put on a live broadcast of the show on Thursday night. The move appeared to go over well with fans, rising 7 percent and hitting a six-week high in ratings (3.5 million, 1.6)

This marks the second time in history Tina Fey’s Emmy-winning sitcom went live.  There were two broadcasts for each coast. Depending on which coast you lived on, the guest stars included Paul McCartney, Jon Hamm, Amy Poehler, Kim Kardashian, Jimmy Fallon, Donald Glover and more. | Full Story

Alec Baldwin’s hilarious weekend spoof of his run in with an American Airlines flight attendant, may have escalated things between the 30 Rock actor and the grudge holding airline.

The American Airlines Flight Attendants Union has taken the first steps required to ensure Baldwin and his 30 Rock character can never feel the warmth of the friendly skies again, according to an E! News report.

The union has gone before the airlines decision makers and proposed the idea of pulling the critically lauded 30 Rock from its inflight entertainment lineup. | Full Story

Katy Perry hosted Saturday Night Live last night. Although it was not the funniest episode of the season, there were some funny sketches and Perry held her own. Perry used her singing voice for most of the sketches, but her acting was not entirely bad considering it was her first time hosting the show.

The “I Kissed a Girl” singer definitely had her funny moments including her Christina Aguilera impersonation in the ‘New Years Eve’ parody, and as a Japanese enthusiast in the ‘J-Pop’ segment. | Full Story

Alec Baldwin was thrown off an American Airlines flight in LA yesterday after getting in a dispute over turning off his iPhone.

“He was beating the walls of the lavatory to the point that the captain called us to see what that was about.
