Perhaps special attention should be paid to the new looks at Walton Goggins and Don Johnson. Goggins plays Billy Crash, one of Calvin Candie’s slave wranglers, whereas Johnson plays a slave owner named Spencer “Big Daddy” Barnett, the character responsible for employing the men who sold Django and Broomhilda into slavery. Other pictures once again showcase Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington and Christoph Waltz in full regalia.
Quentin Tarantino has also revealed that Django Unchained might be part of a trilogy, with Inglourious Basterds being another third. However, it’s important to note how Tarantino loves to lure his fans into obsessing (mostly because Tarantino’s a film geek himself). The director and his publicity team have not been shy in releasing trailer after trailer for Django Unchained, and Tarantino’s gift of gab may just be keeping up the momentum. After all, this is the same director that promised a Kill Bill vol. 3.
While you’re waiting for Django Unchained and its release on Christmas Day, be sure to check out the beautiful pics below. They really do speak for themselves. And wonders for the costume department.
