The promo materials keep rolling in for Guillermo del Toro’s giant-robots-versus-giant-monsters blockbuster, and each one only stokes my expectations. Stokes me like a bro. The latest release is a batch of new posters for the film, courtesy of THR.

One of the posters is a classic-style recruitment throwback. Another shows the film’s central giant robot (a “Jaeger”) kneeling over a human. And the other two introduce two other Jaegers, one from Japan and another from Russia. | Full Story

Last Saturday in Burbank, while most people were buzzing about the Super Bowl, a small, select group got to experience something way cooler. They were the audience for the first test screening of Pacific Rim, Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming movie of giant robots, giant monsters, and giant robots fighting giant monsters. Reactions to the screening have been collected on a fan website for the film.
