The Hunger Games: Catching Fire just got another important addition to the cast.
Lionsgate just reveled that Meta Golding will star as Enobaria, a former career tribute from District 2, known for her brutality in the competition which she won.
The cast is steadily forming for the sequel to Susanne Collins’ The Hunger Games. Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, and Lynn Cohen are all new additions to the cast. Even rapper Romeo Miller’s name has come up for land a role, but his involvement has not yet been confirmed.
Goldings has built a pretty hefty resume since the beginning of her career in 1995. Her most recent credits include Day Break, CSI, House and Cold Case.
Frances Lawrence will be directing The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and the film is set for a November 23, 2013 release date.
















Personally I think that Prim’s name being drawn at the reaping was a plant bescaue of how smug Effie Trinket was when she called her name. But I don’t think the Capitol personally wanted Prim, I think they just wanted a 12-year-old girl, and that just happened to be Prim. Also, if the drawing was a plant (which I don’t think it is) then Effie would’ve known that Katniss would step up and take Prim’s place and when she does take her place, everyone (including Effie) was shocked, bescaue district 12 hadn’t had someone fill in for a tribute in years.
