The movie “Trouble with the Curve”, which stars Clint Eastwood, will hit theaters on September 28.
“Trouble with the Curve” is about an aging baseball scout with eyesight troubles who talks his daughter into going on one last scouting trip to Atlanta with him.
The veteran actor praised the script saying, “They’re not writing a lot of really great material for guys my age. In lieu of that, I would just prefer to stay behind the camera. But if a great role came along, yeah, I would do that. But actors are like boxers — they stay too long sometimes.”
Actress Amy Adams will star as Eastwood’s daughter in the film, after recently accepting an offer to play in the baseball drama.
Warner Bros. is making the project, and Eastwood’s producing partner Robert Lorenz is directing.
Randy Brown wrote the script.
