Staged during 1910, The Creed of Violence takes place at the time of the Mexican Revolution and tells the violent story of two men named Rawbone and John Lourdes. The unlikely duo is embroiled in a bloody battle against a ruthless Mexican gang. Rawbone is a small-time assassin and John Lourdes is a young Bureau of Investigation agent who has a mysterious connection to his partner.
Bale is negotiating to play Rawbone; however, there is no guarantee a deal will go through.
The Creed of Violence will be directed by Fields, who also penned the script. Producers are aiming to begin shooting the film in the early part of 2013 in the American Southwest and parts of Mexico.
Christian Bale can be seen currently playing The Dark Knight Rises which has grossed over $566 million worldwide since opening on July. The actor has just finished up filming Scott Cooper’s Out of the Furnace and is in the process of filming two Terrence Malick movies.
