During the interview, the 75-year-old actor was clearly fighting sleep while his co-star Michael Caine was speaking, but Freeman was losing badly and honorably surrendered to his exhaustion overtly bowing his head and going to sleep.

These promotional tours could be a bit daunting for the aged actor who also has two films currently shooting and three films in post-production. I think Freeman deserves a nap wherever he chooses.

Now You See Me is set to release May 31, 2013 and follows a group of illusionists who use talents to execute  bank heists under the spectacles of their performances. The film also stars Jesse Eisenberg, Isia Fisher, Mark Ruffalo and Woody Harrelson.

Tonight on the FX TV show Anger Management Season 2, episode 19 “Charlie, Kate and Jen Get Romantic,” Martin tries to undermine Charlie and Kate’s relationship by telling Kate that Charlie and Jennifer are getting back together.

The Anger Management series is based on actor Charlie Sheen, as he stars as “Charlie”, a non-traditional therapist specializing in anger management. Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith, Daniela Bobadilla, Michael Arden, and Noureen DeWulf co-star. He has a successful private practice, holding sessions with his group of primary patients each week, as well as performing pro bono counseling for an inmate group at a state prison.

Prior to his career as a therapist, Charlie was a stalled minor league baseball prospect whose road to the majors was sidetracked by his own struggle with anger issues. After a stint in anger management therapy, he made it to the majors and had one terrific season before his anger issues put him on the shelf for good. In the final game of his career, he tried to snap a bat over his leg, which resulted in a career-ending injury. That injury led him back to school and to his current profession.

Charlie thrives on the chaos in his life while still battling his own anger issues. His life is complicated by his relationships with his own therapist/best friend, an ex-wife whose positive outlook but poor choice in men frustrates Charlie, and their 13-year-old daughter who has obsessive-compulsive disorder.

On tonight’s episode of the new NBC series Hannibal, the BAU team hunts a serial killer who digs up his victims, creating a totem pole of their bodies as a macabre trophy. When Nick Boyle’s body is found, Jack & Alana question Abigail about his death. The resurrection of Nick’s body enlightens Will to some of Abigail’s secrets and Hannibal convinces Will to keep some of his own. Attempting to assert independence, Abigail agrees to write a book with Freddy Lounds and in the process, reveals her biggest secret to Hannibal.

The series revolves around Will Graham (Hugh Dancy, “The Big C”), who is a gifted criminal profiler who is on the hunt for a serial killer with the FBI. Graham’s unique way of thinking gives him the astonishing ability to empathize with anyone — even psychopaths. He seems to know what makes them tick. But when the mind of the twisted killer he’s pursuing is too complicated for even Will to comprehend, he enlists the help of Dr. Lecter, one of the premier psychiatric minds in the country. On tonight’s Men at Work season 2, episode 8 “The New Boss,”Tyler’s new girlfriend is all too familiar to Milo and Gibbs, so they do their best to hide the truth from him. Neal and Amy do their best to avoid the “anniversary curse,” but they can’t seem to escape their fate.

Men at Work is a comedy in it’s second season and is based on four friends who work together at a magazine, the recently dumped Milo barely has time to nurse his wounds before his friends decide to help him get back in the game. Together, the four help each other navigate work, friendship and women.
The series was created by Breckin Meyer and stars Danny Masterson, Michael Cassidy, Adam Busch, James Lesure and Meredith Hagner.

Here’s another one of those summer movies that have maintained a low profile until now. I didn’t know there was a new comedy starring Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston. Did you? Of course you didn’- wait.

Wait hold on.

Who is that guy on the poster who isn’t famous? He looks familiar…

Holy cow, that’s Will Poulter! The kid from Son of Rambow and the third Chronicles of Narnia movie! He’s all grown up and showing his penis! Man, that’s a trip.

Anyway:

David Burke (Sudeikis) is a small-time pot dealer whose clientele includes chefs and soccer moms, but no kids—after all, he has his scruples. So what could go wrong? Plenty. Preferring to keep a low profile for obvious reasons, he learns the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished when he tries to help out some local teens and winds up getting jumped by a trio of gutter punks. Stealing his stash and his cash, they leave him in major debt to his supplier, Brad (Ed Helms).

In order to wipe the slate clean—and maintain a clean bill of health—David must now become a big-time drug smuggler by bringing Brad’s latest shipment in from Mexico. Twisting the arms of his neighbors, cynical stripper Rose (Aniston) and wannabe customer Kenny (Will Poulter), and the tatted-and-pierced streetwise teen Casey (Emma Roberts), he devises a foolproof plan. One fake wife, two pretend kids and a huge, shiny RV later, the “Millers” are headed south of the border for a Fourth of July weekend that is sure to end with a bang.

I make fun of people who swoon over celebrities, but the truth is, I felt shamefully excited when Joseph Gordon-Levitt sat right in front of me for the screening of this film at Sundance. I can judge none.

Don Jon, called Don Jon’s Addiction when I saw it at the festival (a better title, in my opinion), is a very nice film. It’s a solidly-made first feature for Levitt, who wrote and directed in addition to starring in it. I’m sure you’ll all have fun with it.

The movie is summarized thusly:

Jon Martello (Gordon-Levitt) is a modern day Don Juan who objectifies everything in his life, especially women. His friends call him Don Jon because of his ability to pull “10s” every weekend without fail. But his addiction to porn has made him dissatisfied with life and he sets out on a journey to find a more gratifying sex life. However, he ends up seeing the bigger picture and learning more about life and love through two different women.

The 49-year-old, actor has never shied away from casting his seven-year marriage to the former Friends star as a horrible time in his life. Previously Pitt went on record with Parade magazine saying before working with Jolie on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” he “wasn’t living an interesting life.”

Now the A-list actor has told Esquire magazine that times were so bad before he divorced Aniston in 2005; he turned to drugs to feel better.

“For a long time I thought I did too much damage – drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing. I spent years f***ing off,” Pitt told the magazine. “But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscious change… This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany.”

The World War Z actor contrasted that time in his life with his current one which consist of a relationship with Angela Jolie and their six children.

‘I always thought that if I wanted to do a family, I wanted to do it big. I wanted there to be chaos in the house … there’s constant chatter in our house, whether it’s giggling or screaming or crying or banging,” he described.

‘I love it. I love it. I love it. I hate it when they’re gone. I hate it. Maybe it’s nice to be in a hotel room for a day – ‘Oh, nice, I can finally read a paper.’ But then, by the next day, I miss that cacophony, all that life,” adding, “I just haven’t known life to be any happier.”

Ouch!!! Was Brad Pitt intentionally trying to diss his ex-wife; or was he just explaining his rough patch that just so happens to have occurred while married to Jennifer Aniston?

On tonight Grimm season 2, episode 22, “Goodnight, Sweet Grimm,” Nick investigates a series of rage-fueled assaults; Nick learns Captain Renard’s brother is in town; Stefania and Frau Pech battle each other using their alliances with Adalind.

Grimm is a TV drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as “Grimms”, charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. As he tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from his fiancé, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), and his partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), he becomes ever more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. With help from his confidant, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), a reformed Grimm creature himself, Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils, including royal lines dating back to the original profilers themselves, The Grimm Brothers.

Wait, Alfonso Cuarón created a TV show and no one told me about it?! Well I’m just going to have to check this out posthaste!

Huh.

Okay, so that wasn’t terribly impressive.

There’s a girl with psychic powers and the forces of evil want her and for some reason the only one who can protect her is a death row inmate (he’s innocent, of course), and Delroy Lindo yadda yadda yadda it all looks pretty rote.

Oh wait, J.J. Abrams is an executive producer. That explains so much. Cuarón’s greatness is canceled out by Abrams’s blandness. I’ll probably watch the pilot, because Cuarón is directing it and I would follow him into Somalia, but at this stage I’m not too hopeful for this. The series is currently set to premiere after the 2014 Olympics.

Side note: actors Kyle MacLachlan and Jake McLaughlin are both on this show, which is hella confusing.
