Warner Bros. Is Moving Forward With The Will Smith ‘I Am Legend 2′ Project

Warner Bros. has officially started the process to begin developing the new I Am Legend 2 film.

Will Smith is on board as a co-producer of the movie, but he hasn’t signed on to star in the movie as of yet because he’s waiting to see a written script. Akiva Goldsman, who co-wrote and produced the first I Am Legend, will also return as a producer.

I Am Legend starred Smith as the last surviving human in New York, which was taken over by monsters that survived a virus attack that killed all of humanity. | Full Story

Bill Murray will not be taking calls to fight ghosts in another installment of the Ghostbusters franchise. The actor and comedian  has apparently retired his ghost-busting uniform for good.

According to Empire magazine, the funny man has said, “No one wants to pay money to see fat, old men chasing ghosts.”

Whitney Houston has died.

Kristen Foster, who is Houston’s publicist, said the legend passed but she didn’t mention the cause of death.

The singer/actress and producer won six Grammy awards, two Emmy awards, and 30 Billboard Music Awards across her successful career. She hit her peak when she released the song “I Will Always Love You”.
