Of all the judges who should leave American Idol, Randy Jackson probably would have been my last choice.

Jackson announced last night that this season of American Idol would be his last. The judge tweeted, “I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. Steve Carell To Appear In ‘The Office’ Finale After All?

Well Dunder Mufflin fans, your prayers may have just been answered. Despite trying to throw us all off, more rumors have surfaced that Steve Carell might be back for The Office series finale later on May 16th.

If this rumor is true, executive producer Greg Daniels and Steve Carell did a great job concealing the cameo, releasing craftily worded statements denying an official Michael Scott return. Earlier this year, Daniels was quoted saying, “Steve is very much of the opinion that the ‘Goodbye, Michael’ episode and the story arc we did leading up to it was his goodbye to fans and the show. | Full Story

Emilia Clarke To Strip For James Franco

…for a movie role, of course. Emilia Clarke, most commonly known as Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will finally be playing a role from this world (and century).  She will star in James Franco’s latest film, The Garden of Last Days, based on an Andre Dubus III novel of the same name.

Lily James Cast As Disney’s Newest ‘Cinderella’

Despite rumors of Emma Watson donning the glass slipper, it has been confirmed that Lily James will portray the rags to riches princess Cinderella.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the Downton Abbey actress joins Cate Blanchett and director Kenneth Branagh in this live-action fairy tale.

This version of Cinderella comes on the heels of many other successful (and some not so successful) fairy tale adaptations, like Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the Hunstman, Mirror Mirror, and the highly anticipated Malificent to name a few. | Full Story

Monsters University is a prequel for the original Monsters Inc. From Monsters Inc, we learned that  Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) had dreams of being a Scarer ever since he was just a little monster. MU rewinds to when Mike and James P. Oh no she didn’t. Word on the street is that American Idol producers were courting Jennifer Lopez to replace Mariah Carey mid-season to help bolster plummeting ratings. Apparently this secret plot was thwarted when Carey’s team threatened legal action if said changes occurred.

Z finger snapping aside, this rumor is nothing but a steaming hot pile of gossip. According to The Hollywood Reporter, one Fox spokesperson said, “This is just another ridiculous Idol rumor.” Even producer Nigel Lythgoe denies any sort of involvement in a Jennifer Lopez coup d’état. | Full Story

As you ought to know by now, Rebel Wilson killed it as the host of the MTV movie awards.
