Brad Pitt has taken another shot at his former wife Jennifer Aniston.

The 49-year-old, actor has never shied away from casting his seven-year marriage to the former Friends star as a horrible time in his life. Previously Pitt went on record with Parade magazine saying before working with Jolie on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” he “wasn’t living an interesting life.”

Now the A-list actor has told Esquire magazine that times were so bad before he divorced Aniston in 2005; he turned to drugs to feel better. | Full Story

James Mangold’s Marvel comics project The Wolverine has been blessed with another trailer.

Most of the scenes were already shown in the first full-length trailer, but there is some additional footage that provides a better glimpse into the film’s plot.

Seth MacFarlane Spits Out Oscars Carrot And Tries To Get Joaquin Phoenix To Eat It

If you were anticipating the return of Seth MacFarlane as host for the Academy Awards, I’m afraid I have some bad news.

MacFarlane will not reprise the host position at the Oscars this March.  On Monday, The Family Guy creator broke the news via Twitter, tweeting, “Traumatized critics exhale: I’m unable to do the Oscars again. Tried to make it work schedule-wise, but I need sleep” McFarlane added “However, I highly recommend the job, as Zadan and Meron are two of the most talented producers in the business.”

MacFarlane was referring to Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who produced the show in February and will again do the job in 2014. | Full Story

As filming for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues wrapped up in Atlanta, and began in New Your City, some big cameo spoilers have emerged from the mediasphere.

Will Ferrell was spotted on the New York set over the weekend — but that’s not surprising since it’s been well reported Anchorman 2 would bring back the original Channel 4 News team, which aside from Ferrell, includes Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner. | Full Story

Kelly Rowland In Final Negotiations To Join ‘X Factor’

Kelly Rowland has added another gig to her already busy schedule.  The former Destiny Child singer is currently negotiating a deal to join a judging panel that includes Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, and Mexican singer/actress Paulina Rubio (also in negotiations) on the U.S. version of The X Factor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A source told the media outlet that the deal is not set in stone, but producers plan to have the new panel of judges seated in time for the Charleston, South Carolina auditions which are set to kick off on Tuesday, May 21. | Full Story

Box Office Report: ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Takes Down Iron Man 3

Star Trek: Into Darkness, J.J. Abrams sci-fi sequel, soared above Iron Man 3 to take the top spot at this weekend’s box office, with $70.6 million in earnings.

Though the film managed to rake in an impressive haul, it fell short of the expected $90 million projection despite being reinforced with several showings at IMAX 3-D theaters.  Abrams’ first Star Trek movie opened in early May of 2009 with an impressive $75.2 million on its first weekend without the benefit of 3-D surcharges. | Full Story

The first full length Riddick trailer has made its way online, and from the looks of things, the upcoming film may be filled with even more badass Vin Diesel and strange dangerous creatures than the first installment, Pitch Black.

Aside from Vin Diesel, Riddick stars Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista, Jordi Mollà, Matt Nable, Bokeem Woodbine, Raoul Trujillo, and Nolan Gerard Funk.

Judging from the trailer, writer/director David Twohy returned to the original themes featured in Pitch Black, abandoned those introduced in the interplanetary debacle known as Chronicles of Riddick. | Full Story

Jay-Z, Will and Jada Smith Annie Remake Won’t Be Called ‘Annie’

It appears Jay-Z, Will and Jada Smith are planning to take some creative liberties with their Annie remake film.  In fact, it may not be called “Annie” at all.

The upcoming film, stars the awarding-winning actors Quvenzhane Wallis and  Jamie Foxx. Recently it was announced Foxx would play a variation of the original character Daddy Warbucks who will be called Benjamin Stacks in the remake.

According to the union casting notice obtained by the good people over at Playbill.com, many of the other character’s names will also be changed, including the title character. | Full Story

Bill Hader Confirms ‘Saturday Night Live’ Exit

Saturday Night Live is losing another long time star.  Bill Hader will be leaving the late night sketch comedy show after the season finale airs this week, confirmed the comedian’s publicist on Tuesday.

Hader is an eight-year veteran of the NBC show who is best known for his variety of impressions, including smug game show hosts, actor Al Pacino and Stefon, a gay TV journalist known for recommending over-the-top night clubs on the show’s longtime “Weekend Update” segment. | Full Story
